Case 3

5years old boy with normal development history came with features of altered sensorium and frequent seizures. He went into status epilepticus requiring multiple antiepileptic medications and was ventilated for 7 days. His MRI brain and spine was suggestive of acute disseminated encephalomyelitis(ADEM). The antibodies for NMOSD(NMO and anti-MOG antibodies) were negative.He was treated with injection methylprednisolone and IVIG(immunoglobulin). Now after discharge he has become as normal as before.
