Case 4

18months old boy with previous normal development was brought with features of progressive difficulty in walking since 2 weeks. On examination there was severe ataxia with normal sensorium and normal power in all limbs. His MRI brain was normal. EEG showed diffuse moderate degree slowing. The CSF study was normal. He was a case of autoimmune cerebellitis. He was treated with iv steroids, immunoglobulin and inj rituximab. After discharge he gradually improved and now is able to walk independently.
